Goodwin Girls Impact Brochure
The Goodwin Girls brochure serves as a vital communication piece for the organization, designed to connect with supporters, highlight transformative stories, and showcase tangible outcomes. This publication centers on their core belief that connection is oxygen, providing a visual narrative of the healing and growth experienced by the young women they serve. I had the opportunity to provide professional design services to bring this vision to life.
Print Publication Design
Client: Goodwin Girls

My Role
- Brochure layout and editorial design
- Typography systems and visual hierarchy
- Image placement, photo selection, and aesthetic alignment
- Preparation of print-ready files for physical distribution

Objective
The goal was to design a piece that feels inspiring, compassionate, and organized, encouraging community support and conveying the transformative power of the organization’s work. The brochure serves as a dual-purpose marketing and informational tool:
- Communicating the overarching mission to relentlessly encourage young women and provide a space where they are seen and heard.
- Sharing the Impact Report to build awareness of the organization’s success in providing healing, safety, growth, and connection.
Approach
The design utilizes the brand’s soft color palette and a clean grid system to balance deep emotional themes with hopeful, uplifting visual cues. Clear styling was established for headings, statistical highlights, body text, and impactful photography. This approach ensured brand consistency while creating an engaging, beautiful layout that enhanced the organization’s storytelling and highlighted their measurable impact.
