Print Publication Design
Overview
Since 2016, the Queen of the Americas Guild Annual Newsletter has been a cornerstone publication for the organization, designed to connect members, highlight stories, and build anticipation for the annual conference. Each issue is released around June, setting the stage for the October conference, and includes both a recap of the prior year’s event and a preview of what’s to come. I designed the 2023, 2024, and 2025 editions.
Annual Newsletter
Print & Digital Publication Design
Client: Queen of the Americas Guild
Issues Featured: 2023, 2024, and 2025 Editions

My Role
I led the design for all three issues, overseeing the layout of stories, photography, and design elements, ensuring brand consistency and template usage. My responsibilities included:
- Full editorial design and layout
- Typography systems and visual hierarchy
- Image placement and photo editing
- Preparation of print-ready files

Objective
The newsletter serves as a dual-purpose publication:
- Sharing stories to foster awareness of and devotion to The Lady of Guadalupe as Mother of the Americas through religious stories, education, prayer,
- Promoting the annual conference — previewing upcoming speakers, events, and schedule, while also recapping highlights from the previous year.
The goal was to design a publication that feels inspiring, organized, and engaging to encourage members to stay connected and motivated to attend the October conference.
Approach
While the overall design followed a consistent template for continuity, each issue featured unique layouts tailored to the year’s stories and photography. Each edition was built on a clean grid system with clear visual styling for headings, subheadings, captions, body text, images, and page layouts. This approach ensured brand consistency while creating engaging, beautiful layouts that enhanced storytelling and kept each publication fresh.
